Big happenings going on at Designer Teez this week. First of all, due to previous news reports we had a number of
shirts developed about Brett Favre retiring and leaving the Minnesota Vikings in a lurch. Then two days later, we
scrapped those because we heard he was coming back and started developing new shirts praising his decision to
return to the Vikings. Next day we dumped those and decided to make fun of the fact that he can’t make a decision.
Then, wouldn’t you know it, he decides to come back. I give up.
Anyway, check us out in the next few days as we will be putting up new Favre T-shirts. These are always hot sellers,
especially in Wisconsin (you guys know you still love him).
Also, we recently launched our Affiliate Campaign. For those of you unfamiliar with Affiliate campaigns, it is set up so
that anyone who promotes one of our t-shirts or website, get a 20% commission on everything that they help us sell.
You can promote us by using one of our banners on your website, blog, or even a text link in an email. So what do
you need to do? That’s a great question. All you need to do is sign up for our affiliate program through Share-A-Sale

T-shirt Newsletter – June 25th 2010

OK…you spoke and we answered. All t-shirts are now only $9.99. For some of you that go to those martini bars (you
know who you are), that is only one less drink during happy hour.
We have our new BP t-shirts up on the site as well. Now go and buy one to show your support for one of the largest
blunders in our nations history of depending on fossil fuels. Wait…maybe you should buy an electric car instead.

Wow! Where does the time go. It seems like just yesterday my kids were crawling over to me to give me a hug.
Now there are walking up to me and trying to kick me in the ding ding. I guess respect will never return to me until
I am dead and buried. Oh well…I can always look forward to old age (where I can forget about how much they hate
me).
I’m starting to really understand what people mean when they say that kids are sponges. They soak up everything
around them. I’m just wondering when those kids will soak up enough ambition to go out and get a job. Come On!
Daddy wants to retire! What is the minimum working age now? Hopefully it’s 3 and 1. If they can’t go out and get a
real job, I suppose they can learn to print and package t-shirts.
But being a parent and running a business are very similar. You conceive each one (hopefully you don’t conceive a
child in the garage like the t-shirt business). You nurture them, grow them, and you learn from your mistakes along
the way. And just when you get them to where your happy with how things are going, YOU SELL THEM!

Well, the last month or so we’ve been putting the finishing touches on our new website. Hopefully all of you will now realize that we don’t just care about
making a buck, but we care about making a buck quickly (hence the new faster loading time on the website).
We’ve also been taking a look at your requests. The one request that we get the most is “Get some more T-shirts up on your site.” So, we are taking that to heart and putting our time into now getting more designs up at Designer Teez. In the last few months, we’ve added more than 60 new tees to the site and you can expect to see at least 100 more in the next few months. What? Genius takes time…and in our case we have to schedule t-shirt design around napping and hangover recovery.
The only news that we have is that… we don’t have any. We’ve been working around the clock to bring you more ridiculous t-shirts so that your day can feel brighter. Our fingers bleed at the end of the day and our families have not seen us for months so that we can make you smile. When we finally do have some down time, we have to spend it coming up with new ideas for t-shirts. All of this is for you. All of this is for our loyal customers. All of this is for………………..(sorry…I forgot what I was saying).

Now adding these products may not seem like a big deal to many of you, or may even seem obvious to those of
you who browse our competitors, but let me tell you it is a big deal to us. Do you know how many hours of
television we had to TIVO to get this done? Also, it means that our business is still moving in the right direction and
it still allows us to bring you useless nonsense printed on apparel that you enjoy so much.
2010 is finally here and we are still wondering where 2009 went. Oh yeah…it tanked with the economy, banking
industry, car industry, job market, and our government system as we know it.
So far in 2010 there has been tragedy in Haiti, anyone who drives a Toyota is pretty mad, everyone on the East
Coast is still sore from shoveling snow, and the Saints won the Superbowl (and beat our Vikings to get there). So
maybe the year has gotten off to a slow start, but here is to a better 2010 as we go forward!
We know that there have not been many updates since before the Christmas holiday, but we have several good
excuses:
1. We just finished putting our kids toys together from Santa only to watch them play with them for 5 minutes
and break them.
2. Our New Year’s hangover has just subsided.
3. We were laughing at the fact that the East Coast shuts down when they get a little snow (2 feet of snow is a
dusting to those of us who live in Minnesota). PS – this is only a joke.
4. We were waiting in line for tickets to see the new movie “Dear John”… tears fill my eyes as I type this.
5. We just get so DAMN excited for Valentine’s Day! PS – this is also a joke.
So there it is, our first newsletter of 2010. We want to thank all of our customers and faithful following for making
it a record holiday season for Designer Teez. Whew… now with that said, we expect you to purchase even
